Society Membership Benefits

• Members will be added to the Society membership lists with grades verified by the ……………, and with reciprocal recognition with other member schools;

• Only Society Members will be notified of and will be eligible to enter and compete in events organised by ABJJNZ including:
o National Competitions;
o North and South Island Regional Competitions;
o Auckland Championships;
o World Cup Trials;
o Other events and tournaments organised and sanctioned by ABJJNZ.

• The Society will ensure member clubs are properly affiliated to ABJJNZ, with suitably recognised and qualified instructors. The aim is to ensure that students know that by learning and competing at an affiliated club they will be receiving the best possible access to high level BJJ instruction. Clubs will only be affiliated if they are able to show lineage to a ABJJNZ verified Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt.

• Members will benefit by initiatives undertaken by the Society. These include fund-raising and grant applications with the aim of establishing Society equipment, Website presence, contact with respect upcoming events and news, and other initiatives to be proposed by the Committee.

Fees

The Committee has set the annual membership fee at $20.00 per member. A club fee is likely also to be implemented. These fee levels are intended to aid affordability for members, and are subject to change at the Committees discretion.The A
